Digital Skills, Green Mindset -- Growing Womenpreneurs for a Sustainable Future

Wanita Indonesia Bisa (WIB) was built to help existing women-led SMEs scale effectively, innovate smartly, and grow sustainably -- not to start new businesses, but to strengthen ones already running. Over two months in 2022, we worked with 24 selected womenpreneurs chosen from 59 applicants across Java, Bali, and Sumatra.

Built With, Not For

The program began with a Focus Group Discussion where participants shared their real challenges: navigating digital marketplaces, managing cash flow, limited networks, and how to run a business sustainably without hurting profitability. Every session that followed was designed around those answers.

The Curriculum

• Financial literacy
• Product development and design
• Motivational and mindset coaching

Participants were matched one-on-one with mentors from Gringgo's network, including Australia Awards alumni.

Results

• 9 businesses began collaborating with Gringgo to market to eco-conscious communities
• 5 follow-up mentoring sessions continued beyond the program
• 1 cross-participant partnership emerged to co-create a product line
